Kelly and Jen spent these few days doing laundry and gettin the boat ready as we will be leaving for Disney in just a few days! We’re so excited to have a few days off the boat and getting to relax and have some fun… oh you cant forget about all the exciting aspects of sleeping in a hotel for a few days. Flushing toilet paper, leaving the water on while brushing your teeth, 20 minute showers, flat screen TV, big bathroom counter and mirror, and Jen and Harley got to spread out on a queen size mattress. Which all all things we don’t have or don’t on the boat.

Mike worked, he had a few meetings and the dogs were good and didn’t bark. Which is always fear of ours lol

We went and hung out in the ‘captain’s lounge’ at the marina and watched the Big Bang Theory. Super beautiful and colorful sunset that day as well.

Our gulf crossing friends Steve and Terri on In Custody are staying in a marina about 40 minutes north of us. We picked up a rental car and drove up to them and had dinner together. It’s always so so nice to see boat friends. We can bond over the trials and tribulations of boat life, which helps to remind us we’re not the only one who go though troubles and get stressed. It’s also fun to share in the joy and adventure of boat life as well.

While we are in Disney the puppies will be staying at the Best Friends Pet Resort on Disney property. We were told they could bring a sweatshirt from a. family member to cuddle with at night. So we each slept and wore a sweatshirt on and off for 4 days straight to make sure it really really got our sent on it for them. Hopefully it works and they feel comfort from it!
